On August 6, 2025, Shen Xin, Vice President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), met with Alberto Blanco Silva, Cuban Ambassador to China.

The two sides exchanged views on further strengthening the traditional friendship between China and Cuba, deepening bilateral relations, and co-hosting a reception to mark the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Deng Lan, Deputy Director-General of the Department of American and Oceanian Affairs of the CPAFFC, was present at the meeting.
