On August 1, 2025, Vice President Yuan Mindao of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) met with Kok Khoo Phua, President of the Singapore China Friendship Association, and his delegation at the CPAFFC. The two sides exchanged views on people-to-people friendship between the two countries and on future cooperation between the two associations.

Director-General Zhu Dan and Deputy Director-General Zhang Peng of the Department of East Asian Affairs of the CPAFFC, were present at the meeting.
